Every year Apple's September livestream event takes the tech world by storm with the announcement of a new iPhone. A few days ago, Apple announced their new iPhone 14 series. Before the release of the iPhone 14 series, there was no end to the rumors about the possible features. We even discussed this in a dedicated post of Banglatech.
An interesting thing is that many of the rumors released around the new iPhone series turn out to be true. But it is even more strange if the iPhone clones are released in the market before the new model of iPhone is released.
Every year when the iPhone is released, various iPhone clones come into the market. These phones look exactly like the iPhone, but basically they run on a custom Android skin that looks like the iPhone. I will know about such an iPhone clone in this post.
iPhone 14 clone
Just a day before the release of the iPhone 14 series, fake iPhones that look exactly like the iPhone 14 Pro have entered the Chinese market. According to various media reports, the company even managed to copy the pill-shaped design of the iPhone Clone 14 Pro before the phone was released.
Powered by the same custom software skin that looks like iOS, this phone also has various features like the original iPhone.
Powered by a heavily customized version of Android, this iPhone 14 Pro clone has iOS-like icons, widgets, wallpapers and many more features. However, the main difference between the original iPhone 14 Pro and this fake is that the bezel on the bottom of the clone iPhone is quite large and the back camera is only a design that does not work well. This clone has copied the feature of unlocking the device of the original iPhone.
According to the same report, the cases for the iPhone 14 series were available in China before the release. Although iPhone clones happen frequently, copying the exact design before the release of the phone is rare.
Fake Apple Livestream
Now listen to another interesting news. While the whole world was busy watching the live stream of the iPhone 14 launch, some scammers took advantage of it by fooling some people. A group of scammers have done a cryptocurrency scam by livestreaming an old video of Apple CEO Tim Cook online.
This is not the first such scam. Scams like this often happen during official iPhone streams. The description of the livestream was filled with various keywords related to Apple, so this livestream came first in the search of many people, as a result of which many viewers were unknowingly watching a fake stream.
The description of the fake livestream contained a link to a fake crypto website with the main purpose of deceiving viewers. The livestream was promoting the crypto website by editing Tim Cook's words in Apple's Far Out event video.
The title of the livestream was “Apple Event Live. CEO of Apple Tim Cook: Apple & Metaverse in 2022” by which the purpose of the stream was to smear Apple's name. If you use YouTube regularly, beware of these scams. Recently, these streams are played despite taking over many video profiles.
How do you like the clone phone that looks like iPhone 14?
